The long days of summer are finally here—the perfect time for exploring and learning new things. We’ve created a bunch of fun, free resources to help your students take advantage of the break and become self-motivated learners!
Make real-world connections with summer learning activities
As students get outside this summer, ask them to make real-world connections with our fun learning activities for all subjects. Whether it’s building a floating ship, trying out geocaching, measuring angles in real life, or creating a catchy newspaper headline for their book, there’s something for everyone! Check them out here.
Encourage students to be reflective learners
Our reflection logs are a great opportunity for students to flex their growth mindset muscles. By using their IXL Recommendations wall or choosing a report from IXL Analytics, students can set goals and chart their growth over the break. Find them here.
Motivate students to practice and discover new skills
Challenge students to reach bingo to earn a pair of cool printable sunglasses or meet various practice goals to redeem customizable coupons. Download our template or create your own here.
Participate in IXL’s Study in the Sun summer contest
Tap into students’ competitive side with our summer usage contest! For every 1,000 eligible questions students answer between June 1 and August 31, they’ll receive 1 entry into the prize drawing for an iPad mini. Register here and read the full rules and FAQs here.
